It was a disaster. Even at the lowest settings, graphics were horrid, frame rate was about 0.4 fps, and in short order it died, once taking the system down with it.
I run SL on an MSI Wind U100 Atom-based notebook. Normally I gets a 5-7 fps framerate, and SL is rock stable. At the lowest graphics settings SL is not very immersive, but its quite possible to do chatting and building. Moving around tends to be the hardest thing to do..... So I guess anyone who, like me, both want a small notebook and the possibility to run SL on the road should rather go for that one.
