Thank you

I hope that all have taken a moment today to contemplate what we owe all those who have fought and died on our behalf.

Here you can find not only the moving poem "In Flanders Fields" but also the story of how it was written and almost lost.

A beautiful poem with some awesome musical 'renderings' too! I can advise the Flanders Fields museum to all who visits Belgium/Flanders.

If you go to that site, you'll hear 'In Flanders Fields' which is a beautiful song too.

And the 'intro' is done great too, 'och Here, red ons Vaderland en bevrijd ons van Soldaten'... 'oh, Lord, safe or Fatherland and 'deliver' us from Soldiers' (Parody on the Lord's Prayer).

'The real losers are always the old, the children and the mothers...' (Translated from German)

'Goe viezeren, zenne manne, goe viezeren...' (Dialect Dutch for 'aim well, aim well!')

'They achieved little, except loss.'

'War in this century is inexcusable, and all parties engaged in must take an equal share in the blame for it's occurance.'

'Kameraden, nicht schiessen!'

Actually, all the quotes are worth listening to. And the exhibition is surely worth a visit if ever in Belgium or Europe even! Did the Tour d'Eifel ever had that much influence on a that much nations? No! And still everybody goes there...
