I've changed my display name. It's now "Μέλισσα Βαθυκόλπος", "deep-bosomed Melissa". (Spelling and grammar corrections are gratefully accepted.) I hope it will do well in the Minoan Empire, and we'll see if I now get asked "Do you know what that means?" by Greek speakers instead of Francophones. :)
Now to see if I can find that book of instruction in Homeric Greek...

Well... "Melissa" I found on the Wikipedia page for the name. There's an online Greek-English dictionary, and that, plus an English dictionary that gave the spelling as "bathucolpian" rather than the "bathycolpian" I'd always seen before, gave the remaining hints.(Also, "kolpos" is "bosom", not "breast". "Breast" of course is "mastos", as one can see from all the English words that arise that root.)
Now, strictly speaking, the "lower case" letters are a later invention, just as they were for the Latin alphabet (by way of uncial and then semiuncial), so one could argue that I should use all caps. (And then there are the diacritical marks...) To be totally anal retentive, I would try to spell it out in the Linear B syllabary.... but I'm not that good, and I don't want to put people off by all caps, which strikes folks these days as SHOUTING.
