Mesh Import Code Uses Proprietary Library

So... LL chose to use a proprietary library for physics decomposition related to mesh uploads. Simple expediency, or an intentional impediment for third-party viewers? I don't know, but operationally is there any difference?

And some of the posts state this was to help speed up the process of getting mesh out there.

I'm curious what the licensing says on this proprietary software. :)
